Getting Outside of Your Comfort Zone

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. If you wait until you’re “ready,” opportunities will pass you by. Courage doesn’t mean you’re fearless; it means you have fear but pursue your goals anyway. Accept discomfort as unavoidable terrain on the path to success.

It’ll help if you choose goals that are worth the discomfort, and then focus on these goals. When we have a strong sense of purpose, we become more resilient. If your keep your eyes on the prize, any discomfort will become more bearable.

But no one said you have to jump into the deep end. Inch your way out of your comfort zone. There’s no reason to stretch too far. As you venture outward, your comfort zone will expand. Make it a daily practice and very soon you’ll be doing extraordinary things.
