Motivational Speaker Tip: Finish What You Start

We’ve all taken that first step. We’ve acted on a brilliant idea. We’ve reserved the domain name. We’ve purchased a great “how to” book. Maybe we’ve written the first few pages of our own book. We’ve all started something.

But then we gave up. Perhaps we got distracted by our daily tasks or responsibilities. Or maybe we got overwhelmed by the enormity of the project. Maybe  we became scared of success, or scared of failure. Whatever it was, something derailed us.

Go back and finish. Your idea may really be as brilliant as you originally thought, but you’ll never know until you see it through. And even if it’s not, it’s still good to get into the habit of completion. Visionaries are nothing without action. Make your vision a reality by committing to it. And then stop evaluating until you have an end result.
