FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Motivational Speaker to Offer Resilience Techniques to Struggling Businesses

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 15, 2009 – Nationally renowned motivational speaker Scott Greenberg of Jump Start Performance Programs will be offering techniques to boost morale and resiliency to struggling businesses and organizations.

As one of the nation’s top motivational speakers for a wide variety of groups and industries, Greenberg has seen first hand how the economic climate of the last year has cut productivity and darkened the workplace.

“In a time of budget cuts and layoffs, it’s not just sales figures that are running low. Morale is also at rock bottom. Organizations cannot survive if they remain in survival mode. They must find ways to encourage their employees if they want to bounce back.”

Greenberg cites problems directly related to low morale, including low productivity, poor service, absenteeism, tardiness and a generally tense, unpleasant work environment. According to a study published earlier this year in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine, workers in a contentious, quarrelsome workplace were 61% more likely to be depressed.

In spite of cutbacks and lower budgets for conferences and meetings, Greenberg has experienced an increase in requests for motivational keynotes on resilience and change.

In his upcoming motivational programs, Greenberg will address issues of resilience, peak performance and teamwork in stressful environments. For managers, he’ll offer techniques to uplift employees and boost morale. A cancer survivor and grandson of a Schindler’s List holocaust survivor, Greenberg brings tremendous credibility to his resilience programs.

Upcoming clients of Greenberg include ISSA Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association in Chicago, the Wyoming Community College Commission and the Health and the Health and Hospital Corporation of Indianapolis.
