I’m returning today from a two-hour teacher/parent program I did in Grand Rapids Michigan. I presented “Teaching Like Michelangelo: How to Break Kids Free of Their Mental Blocks and Reveal Their Inner Potential.” This event was open to the public, so it was  great crowd of participants who really wanted to be there.

Attending this function initially to ‘get credit for training hours required’ I left with far more than what I had bargained for. Advertised through our local 4C agency as a workshop to “Make a Permanent Mark on the People You Teach,” I felt I would benefit as a director of our childcare program with my staff. Within minutes of the presentation, I found myself interested and inspired. As the workshop moved forward, I recognized material that I could apply to the children in our program, their parents, my staff as well as myself. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been present for this insightful evening.
